by immersion and upon completion of New Members Orientation Class.

you have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, having been baptized by immersion, and
upon completion of New Members Orientation Class.

Why baptism by immersion? The Word of God tells us that "after" a person believed on Jesus
Christ, they were baptized. Water baptism is the first step a believer is to take after trusting
Jesus as Lord and Savior. It is a "testimony" that the believer has died with Jesus, been buried
with Christ (immersed in water, representing the grave and death) and been raised with Christ
and is now a new creation in Christ.
